Diane McQuillan

Night VCA

Diane first started working in a general veterinary practice 16 years ago where she started as an animal care assistant. In her time there she completed a certificate in animal care in 2006 and in 2008 gained an NVQ level 2 in Veterinary Nursing at Edinburgh Telford College. Unfortunately circumstances at the time meant she was unable to complete level 3 but this is something she hopes to be able to achieve in the future.

In 2010 Diane worked with a cat only veterinary practice which she very much enjoyed before making a move in 2016 to a veterinary charity working alongside the emergency out of hours team which was based there.

She joined the VSS team in September 2020.

At home Diane is kept very busy with two young children, a border collie named Alfie, a cat named Boo and guinea pigs Emily and Daisy.

When she has any spare time Diane loves to cook, garden and explore new walks with her family.
