Victoria qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse and obtained her degree in Veterinary Nursing from Edinburgh Napier University in 2012. Upon graduating she spent four years in small animal general practice where she gained the DipHE in Clinical Veterinary Nursing in 2016 and subsequently achieved the Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing in 2017.
Victoria has always aspired to work in a referral hospital, so shortly after completing the Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing she started working at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies as a surgical nurse. This role allowed Victoria to gain various skills and knowledge in all areas of surgical nursing and assist in the teaching of veterinary students.
Victoria enjoys all aspects of surgical nursing but her main interest is in soft tissue surgery, especially interventional radiology procedures and wound management.
