Arthur Camassa
Intern
Arthur graduated from the Federal University of Lavras (Brazil) in 2011, where he then spent another two years completing a Surgical Residency in Small Animals. In 2014, he moved to Portugal and completed a Master’s and a Ph.D. degree in Veterinary Sciences at the University of Tras-os-Montes e Alto Douro. In 2018, he moved to the UK to pursue his ultimate dream of becoming a Veterinary Surgery Specialist. For this reason, he concluded a rotation internship in a busy veterinary referral centre in Hampshire in 2020.
Since then, he has been working in primary care practices in the Hampshire area. Arthur joined Veterinary Specialist Scotland as a Surgical Intern in 2024. Outside work, he enjoys spending time in the gym, traveling knowing new cultures, and being a couch potato with his wife.
