Diagnostic Imaging

Diagnostic Imaging is an essential service to all departments for the investigation and management of clinical cases.

This service provides acquisition and image interpretation of internal structures (e.g. bones, muscles, nerves, brain and internal organs) with the use of multiple diagnostic imaging modalities. In additional to this, minimally invasive procedures can be performed with imaging guidance, such as fine needle aspirates or biopsies.

We have access to outstanding on-site imaging facilities including a 64-slice CT scanner, digital X-ray, ultrasound and fluoroscopy, allowing us to perform detailed and thorough investigations. Our specialist imager can access and interpret these images immediately, providing results without delay. This is especially important for patients seen in an emergency that may require further procedures, and for day-patients where the results need discussed at the end of the day.
