Anaesthesia and Analgesia Service Facilities

Canine Internal Medicine Facilities
- Dogs will be housed in one of four wards - two routine wards for medical and surgical patients, an ICU facility for patients with more severe illnesses or an isolation facility if suffering from an infectious disease. We have a variety of kennel sizes, varying from walk in kennels for larger breeds to smaller kennels so that little dogs can feel safe and secure
- State-of-the-art kennels made of safety glass, which are warmer than steel kennels and without noisy metal doors
- Outdoor run facilities to exercise dogs for toileting purposes, as well as bathing facilities should these be required
- Comprehensive in-house laboratory for quick results around the clock

Feline Internal Medicine Facilities
- Separate waiting room for cats: to ensure their anxiety is reduced by not encountering barking dogs
- Separate consulting room for cats: to ensure that they are not scared by the smell of dogs that might have been in the consulting room before them
- Separate ward for cats: this ensures a peaceful environment where they can relax to cat-friendly music
- State-of-the-art kennels made of safety glass, which are warmer than steel kennels and without noisy metal doors. The kennels have partitioned toileting areas for privacy and hiding and perching facilities are provided
- Cat appropriate equipment: e.g. small weighing scales, quiet clippers, small volume blood tubes, direct and indirect ophthalmoscopy, direct and indirect blood pressure monitoring, continuous blood glucose monitoring
Neurology Service Facilities

- C-arm fluoroscopy (video X-ray) allowing real time visualisation of the procedure

Orthopaedics Service Facilities
