Brigite de Lima Dantas

Brigite qualified from the Faculdade de Medicina Veterinaria in Lisbon in 2007. In 2008 she moved to the UK and spent a couple of years in general practice in Wales and England prior to completing a rotating internship at the Hospital for Small Animals at the University of Edinburgh. Brigite then undertook a surgery specific internship and completed an ECVS residency programme at the Small Animal Hospital, Glasgow University Veterinary School. She then worked for several years at a large private referral hospital in Derby and also in Portugal. Brigite has recently returned to Scotland to join Veterinary Specialists Scotland where she will work both in the Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue teams. Her particular interests are arthroscopy, complex fractures, wound management and thoracic surgery.
