Cat Irvine

CertVNES RVN

Night RVN

Cat qualified from Edinburgh’s Telford College in 2006. After working in general veterinary practice for 6 years, she moved to The Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies (R(D)SVS) to work with exotic species. In 2013 she gained her City & Guilds Certificate in Veterinary Nursing of Exotic Species.

2015 saw Cat move to the R(D)SVS medicine department, where she could fulfil her interests in endocrine medicine.

In 2018, Cat moved to a night nurse role where she felt she was able to improve on her skill set by working in a multidisciplinary environment. Night nursing has given Cat the opportunity to find interests in a greater range of conditions and treatments.

In her spare time Cat will be found walking or canicrossing her dogs as well as training them in agility, or at the gym where she has a keen love of weightlifting.
