Surgical RVN

Debbie qualified from North Highland College Thurso in 2015. She trained and worked in a first opinion mixed practice in Aberdeenshire for 3 years before starting her referral career at Aberdeen Veterinary Referrals in 2016. This was where she found her love for referral based patient care; orthopaedics, neurology and intensive care.

After Aberdeen Veterinary Referrals, Debbie went on an adventure to Australia, an enjoyable travel experience which has made her want to explore more places in the future.

Debbie transferred to Broadleys Veterinary Hospital in Stirling in 2018 where she rotated between cardiology, orthopaedic, medicine and neurology services prior to moving to Veterinary Specialists Scotland in 2020.

Debbie has been brought up on a farm and is a bit of a “country bumpkin” who loves being outdoors, whether it is finding new walking/hill adventures or being out for a drive to random places. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, and is a very sociable character.

Debbie has two chinchillas called Pikachu and Furby, and has had dogs all her life. She enjoys being part of the Scotland Rugby fanclub, along with playing basketball in her spare time.
