Emily Sinclair

VCA

Emily knew from a young age that she wanted to build a career in the veterinary field. After leaving school, she studied NC Animal Care at SRUC Oatridge before progressing to a Level 2 Diploma in Veterinary Care and Animal Welfare. During her studies, she gained valuable hands-on experience through placements at two local veterinary practices and had the incredible opportunity to travel to South Africa for a wildlife conservation project. While there, she worked alongside the local community to vaccinate more than 300 goats and ewes, whilst also experiencing the culture of South Africa and seeing the Big Five on the reserve.

Outside of work, Emily volunteers with her local Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), where she has dedicated her Saturdays for the past seven years. She finds it incredibly rewarding knowing that the participants’ riding lessons are often the highlight of their week.

She is excited to bring her experience to Vet Specialists Scotland, continue developing her skills, and work towards her long-term goal of becoming a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
