Maria Pasierbinska

Clinician in Veterinary Neurology
Maria graduated from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in 2013. She worked as a first opinion vet and after two years started her journey with neurology enrolling in a PhD program in preclinical neuroscience and neuro-oncology research at Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology in Warsaw. In 2019 she undertook neurology internship at Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists in Winchester, and after completing it become a Junior Clinician in Neurology at the University Small Animal Hospital Glasgow.
In 2022 she become a resident in Neurology and Neurosurgery in Glasgow and started a master project investigating changes in miRNA levels in canine idiopathic epilepsy. She finished her residency in January 2025 and joined VSS as a Clinician in Veterinary Neurology. Maria is particularly interested in neurosurgery, neuro-oncology and epilepsy.
Outside of work, Maria enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, and capturing moments through photography.
