Skin and Ear Problems in Brachycephalic Dogs

The video provides an overview of the common skin conditions associated with brachycephalic dogs including those associated with abnormal anatomic conformation such as skin fold dermatitis and others that have a genetic link or breed predisposition such as atopic dermatitis.  Issues with these dogs displaying pruritic behaviours will also be discussed.  Brachycephalic related ear stenosis and middle ear effusion are important conditions to be aware of when assessing brachycephalic ears.
