Angela began working at Lamond Veterinary Clinic in July 1994 on placement from SRUC animal care course. She enjoyed working at the practice and decided she would like to progress her career and enrolled as a trainee Veterinary Nurse at Telford College.

Angela qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2000 and during her 16 years at Lamond Veterinary Clinic gained valuable experience in all areas including anaesthesia, surgery, radiography, medicine, nursing consultations and patient care. Angela became Head Nurse and assisted the senior vets in planning the day to day running of the practice and ensuring a high standard of patient care.

Throughout her years as a Registered Veterinary Nurse she has enjoyed emergency medicine and critical care and joined the Vets Now Team as Deputy Head of Medicine/Emergency Critical Care in 2015. During her time at Vets Now she completed her Emergency and Critical Care certificate and became Head Nurse of the Glasgow Hospital where she oversaw all disciplines.

Angela joined Veterinary Specialist Scotland in September 2020 as a Senior Nurse in ICU and is enjoying working alongside new team mates and providing excellent patient care.
