Kirstie Ramsay

Night RVN

Kirstie started working in practice in 2011 and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2015. In 2016 she found her love for nightshift working out of hours at the University of Glasgow Small Animal Hospital and spent the next 3.5 years as part of the night team.

In 2019 Kirstie took a step up in her career and joined a practice team in Kilmarnock as the Principal Nurse Manager where she really enjoyed leading and growing a team for the next 2 years.

After a short stint back in general practice managing the nurse team in East Kilbride, Kirstie found her way back to working nights when she joined VSS in May 2022.

Kirstie loves getting to know the in-patients overnight and is really enjoying being part of the team here helping the hospital grow.

Outside of work Kirstie enjoys the outdoors and is usually found with one of her many animals (dogs, horses, sheep).
